CareerLadder advocates for professional opportunities and the advancement of internationally trained professionals while fostering economic opportunity and dignity through professional development
What We Do
We support the immediate needs and invest in the long-term career goals of internationally trained professionals while maintaining the long-term view of addressing critical workforce shortages in fields like healthcare and education, ensuring that skilled immigrants not only thrive individually but also contribute to a stronger, more equitable Nebraska for all. With individualized career support, CareerLadder coaches provide one-on-one individualized support services and programming for internationally trained professionals so they can work in their field of training and address key labor shortages across Nebraska and beyond.
Why We Are Different
CareerLadder distinguishes itself from other traditional workforce programs by providing evidence-based, strengths-based, individualized career coaching and social capital building opportunities tailored specifically to the unique needs of internationally trained professionals.
While others may focus solely on entry-level job placement, we offer long-term career coaching to support each professional in meeting their unique goals in the short-term, medium-term, and long-term, ensuring sustained advancement in their chosen fields. Every step of the way, we support internationally trained professionals from short-term employment goals to long-term career paths.
